Welcome to Our Blog

Howdy everyone! This is our first blog entry in what we hope will be a long and interesting series. If you're here, it's probably because you got one of our cards or emails. PLEASE feel free to pass this link along to people, as the more people we have praying for us, the better!

As you know, we have been led by the Lord to serve Him in Guatemala. Depending on who you ask, the wheels for this move were set in motion months or years ago.

We still have a few loose ends to tie up here in Texas before our relocation in July. Heidi has to finish her residency (mid-June), we have to repair the hurricane damage to our "weekend house" in Beaumont and sell it, we still have some personal possessions to unload, etc., etc., but God is moving very quickly to help us get our "ducks in a row".

We have been blessed to take some vacations this year with our family and friends to such places as Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Guatemala, Florida, The Bahamas, The Cayman Islands, and Jamaica. Alaska, Ohio again, and North Carolina are all on the "to do" list before we move at the end of July.

Of course, Heidi has a list (because what is life without lists?) and we both have LOTS of checkboxes to fill.

Anyway, enough of this silliness. We are very much looking forward to getting to work and filling this space with prayer requests and updates on some of our hermanos and hermanas in Christ. (That's "brothers" and "sisters" in our preferred language of Spanglish.)
