Short One This Time

Not much text this time, but a few pics. We got Carrie from the airport and came back up the mountain. We're home now and spending the next few days cleaning and reorganizing. Here are some pics of the last week.

The first picture is of Dr. Street, Kathleen Street, Lindsey and Paul Argueta. This picture is in the house. Paul and Lindsey are medical students in Xela and work very closely with Agape in Action.

The next one is of Dr. Street and Dr. Bell with Pastor Matilde and his wife, Maria, in Nueva Katarina. They are at 10,000 feet altitude, just outside Quetzaltenango (aka Xela). The building they are in front of is their Methodist Church.

The last picture is the obligatory "Welcome to Santa Cruz" picture. We felt like big fat dorks standing next to the road to have our picture taken, but here it is. The sign is actually a billboard for a local soft drink company. It turns out that Santa Cruz has over 150,000 people - a much larger town that we originally thought!

Okay - that's all for now. We'll post more later!

We are still laughing that you can still feel like a "dork"!!!

Glad that you could smile and make the best of it.

We love the photo even more now that we know how you really felt.

Love, hugs, and prayers,
Mom and Dad
